After all these years I am still playing, inspired by my love of accordion music and an archive of sheet music gathered over the years. I have recently played at an accordion festival in Kilkenny and regularly play in the outdoor market and on occasion in the voluntary/care home sector. Also I try to promote the instrument (chromatic accordion) by teaching and further personal study. I have taken tuition from Nathalie Boucheix at the CNIMA accordion college in France where I also attended for a short course in 2019. Previously I have studied with Helena Sousa a Spanish accordion soloist and also Kaspar Uljsa a jazz and bandoneon professional in Belgium. Also I enrolled in a Virtual Masterclass with Ianke Alberdi in Madrid. Presently doing master classes with Selma Benlarbi a young accordionist in France. My inspiration comes for artists such as Richard Galliano, Daniel Colin (Musette) and Leno Nika of Serbian/Romanian origin. For composition I like French contemporary composer Yann Tiersden and from the past Astor Piazzola.
